This policy explains what personal information Amino Works (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- name, email address and phone number
- billing and shipping addresses
- account login details, if you create an account
- messages you send us
Order and payment information. We keep a record of what you order and the order status. Payments are handled by NOWPayments: we don’t receive or store your wallet keys or account credentials, only payment details such as the transaction ID, amount, currency and status.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site (for example, a referring website or campaign link).
How we use your information
- to process, ship and support your orders
- to run your account and send order and account emails
- when you request our 10% welcome code: to create your account, email you the code and add you to our email list for new products and lab reports (every marketing email has an unsubscribe link)
- when you join our email list (for example from a sale banner on the site): to email you about new products, lab reports and offers (every marketing email has an unsubscribe link)
- to answer your questions
- to confirm that visitors meet our age and research-use requirements
- to prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- to understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to run the store:
- NOWPayments, to process cryptocurrency payments (see the NOWPayments privacy policy)
- our email service providers, which send account, order and marketing emails on our behalf
- USPS and FedEx, which receive your name, shipping address and phone number to deliver your order
- our website hosting, email and software providers, which store and process data on our behalf
- authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights
- a buyer or successor, if Amino Works or its assets are sold, merged or otherwise transferred; your information would remain subject to this policy
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies to:
- remember that you confirmed our age and research-use requirements (for 30 days)
- keep items in your cart and keep you signed in
- remember that you already requested the welcome code, so we don’t ask again
- record how you arrived at the site, so we can tell which links and campaigns bring visitors
- remember whether you chose the light or dark look
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart, sign-in and entry confirmation won’t work without them. For a full list of the cookies we use and how long they last, see our Cookie Notice.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details at any time under My Account. You can also email support@amino.works to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. We may need to keep some information to meet legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you further rights, such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email support@amino.works. We will verify your request by matching details we already hold, such as your email address and order information. If someone makes a request for you as your authorized agent, we may ask for proof that you authorized them. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
We will not treat you differently, for example by refusing service or charging different prices, because you exercised any of these rights.
Age limit
This site is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
