These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order you place with Amino Works (“we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Research use only
All products are sold strictly for in vitro laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary use, are not drugs, food, supplements or cosmetics, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Full details are in our Disclaimer.
Eligibility
To use this site and order from us, you must:
- be at least 21 years of age
- be a qualified researcher, or buying on behalf of a research organization, with the knowledge and facilities to handle research materials safely
- have a street shipping address in the United States
Confirming these points at our entry page or at checkout is a representation that they are true.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account, and should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
We may suspend or close an account, or refuse to provide service, if we reasonably believe it has been used in breach of these terms or for anything other than laboratory research.
Orders and pricing
- Prices are in U.S. dollars, and each product is priced per kit of 10 sealed vials.
- Your order confirmation email confirms that we received your order. It is not acceptance; an order is accepted when we ship it.
- We may refuse or cancel any order, including when a price or product description is wrong, an item is unavailable, payment is not received in full, or we have reason to believe the products will not be used for laboratory research.
- If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will contact you to arrange a refund of the amount paid.
Payment
- We accept cryptocurrency, including the stablecoins USDT and USDC, through our payment processor NOWPayments.
- The amount due in cryptocurrency is calculated from the order’s U.S. dollar total when you open the payment page, and includes our payment processor’s fees. That amount is held for a limited time; if it expires before you pay, you can start a new payment for the same order. Orders ship only after the full amount is received.
- You are responsible for sending the exact amount shown on the correct network, and for any fees your own wallet or exchange charges to send it. Payments sent to the wrong address or network may not be recoverable. Underpaid orders are held until the balance is paid.
Shipping
We ship within the United States to street addresses only (no PO Boxes). Methods, costs and delivery times are listed on our Shipping & Delivery page. Please check your shipping address carefully before you order.
Returns, refunds and order problems
We don’t accept returns. Problems with an order (damaged, incorrect or missing items) must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Refunds are subject to approval, and approved refunds are issued as store credit. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.
Prohibited use
You agree not to: use any product in or on humans or animals; resell or supply products for human or animal use; make health, medical or dosing claims about our products; or use this site for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, product photos, labels, logos and design, belongs to Amino Works and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
Products and the website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Amino Works is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Amino Works harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of our products, your breach of these terms, or statements you make to others about our products, as described in our Disclaimer. This obligation continues after you stop using the site or close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Communications
By creating an account or placing an order, you agree that we may send you notices, order updates and other messages by email, and that these meet any legal requirement for communications to be in writing.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and the other policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about this site and your orders. If we don’t enforce any part of these terms, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only as far as necessary, and the rest of these terms will stay in full effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page and apply to orders placed after that time.
